Oppo A96

Oppo A96, launched on March 16, 2022, is a mid-range and feature-rich smartphone by OPPO. It is powered by Snapdragon 680 4G SoC, Octa-core (4 x 2.4 GHz, 4 x 1.9 GHz) CPU, and Adreno 610 GPU.

The smartphone comes with 8 GB RAM of type LPDDR4x and 128 / 256 GB storage memory. Furthermore, the handset supports the installation of additional storage via a memory card.

The mobile phone has a 6.59-inch LCD (LTPS) display supporting resolutions up to 2412 x 1080 pixels at a pixel density of ~401 pixels per inch (PPI). Other features of Oppo A96’s display include 90Hz Refresh Rate, FHD+, Punch-Hole Display, 5-level adaption, 16.7 million colors.

As regard cameras, Oppo A96 comes with One (16 MP) camera on the front side and two (50 x 2 MP) cameras on the back side. The front camera supports video recording up to 1080p at 30 fps. Whereas, the rear camera supports video recording up to 1080p at 30 fps. The aperture of the front camera lens is f/2.0. While, the apertures of the rear camera lens are f/1.8, f/2.4.

Some of the features of the front camera include Wide Angle, Face Unlock, Selfie Mode, Portrait, HDR, Night Mode, Sticker, Panaroma.

Subsequently, some of the features of the rear camera include Wide Angle, Depth Camera, Panorama, HDR, LED Flash, Portrait, Time Lapse, Slow Motion, PDAF, Google Lens, Text scanner, Extra HD, Night Mode, Sticker.

The connectivity options of Oppo A96 include Bluetooth (5.0) , Wi-Fi (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, hotspot, direct, dual), USB, GPS, 2G / GSM / GPRS, 3G / HSPA / CDMA, 4G / LTE, and Dual (Nano SIM) for Calls / SMS / Data.

The security features built inside the handset include Touch ID and Face ID. Moreover, it is equipped with a number of sensors including Accelerometer, fingerprint, compass, proximity, Virtual gyroscope, Ambient light sensor, Pedometer, Geomagnetic sensor.

Furthermore, Oppo A96 comes with a 5000mAh battery which supports fast charging but does not have an option for wireless charging. In addition to this, the build material of the smartphone comprises of Front (Glass), Back (Plastic), Sides (Plastic).

The actual weight (without any accessory attached) and dimensions of the Oppo A96 are 191 gms and 6.47 x 2.98 x 0.33 (Height x Width x Depth) inches, respectively.
