Oppo A56

Oppo A56, launched on November 16, 2021, is a mid-range and feature-rich smartphone by OPPO. It is powered by Dimensity 700 SoC, Octa-core (2 x 2.2 GHz, 6 x 2.0 GHz) CPU, and Mali-G57 MC2 GPU.

The smartphone comes with 4 / 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage memory. Furthermore, the handset supports the installation of additional storage via a memory card.

The mobile phone has a 5.2-inch IPS LCD display supporting resolutions up to 1600 x 720 pixels at a pixel density of ~270 pixels per inch (PPI). Other features of Oppo A56’s display include HD+, Corning Gorilla Glass 5.

As regard cameras, Oppo A56 comes with One (8 MP) camera on the front side and two (13 x 2 MP) cameras on the back side. The front camera supports video recording up to 1080p at 30 fps. Whereas, the rear camera supports video recording up to 1080p at 30 / 60 fps. The aperture of the front camera lens is f/2.0. While, the apertures of the rear camera lens are f/2.2, f/2.4.

Some of the features of the front camera include Wide Angle, Face Unlock, Selfie Mode, Portrait.

Subsequently, some of the features of the rear camera include Wide Angle, Depth Camera, Panorama, HDR, LED Flash, Time Lapse, Slow Motion, Night Mode, Portrait.

The connectivity options of Oppo A56 include Bluetooth (5.1) , Wi-Fi (802.11 a/b/g/an, hotspot, dual, direct), USB, GPS, 2G / GSM / GPRS, 3G / HSPA / CDMA, 4G / LTE, 6G and Dual (Nano-SIM) for Calls / SMS / Data.

The security features built inside the handset include Touch ID and Face ID. Moreover, it is equipped with a number of sensors including Compass, accelerometer, fingerprint, proximity.

Furthermore, Oppo A56 comes with a 5000mAh battery which supports fast charging but does not have an option for wireless charging. In addition to this, the build material of the smartphone comprises of Front (Glass), Back (Plastic), Sides (Plastic).

The actual weight (without any accessory attached) and dimensions of the Oppo A56 are 189.5 gms and 6.45 x 2.98 x 0.33 (Height x Width x Depth) inches, respectively.
