Meizu 17

Meizu 17, launched on May 11, 2020, is a high-end smartphone having top-notch features by Meizu. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 5G SoC, Octa Core (1 x 2.84 GHz, 3 x 2.42 GHz, 4 x 1.8 GHz) CPU, and Adreno 650 GPU.

The smartphone comes with 8 GB RAM of type LPDDR4X and 128 / 256 GB storage memory. Furthermore, the handset supports the installation of additional storage via a memory card.

The mobile phone has a 6.6-inch Super AMOLED display supporting resolutions up to 2340 x 1080 pixels at a pixel density of ~390 pixels per inch (PPI). Other features of Meizu 17’s display include HDR10+, 120 Hz Refresh Rate, Gen3.0 EdgeDisplay, Flat Panel, mTouch in-display fingerprint sensor, 90Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling rate, SGS Eye Comfort Certified, Retina Color, AG glass technique, G3 curvature.

As regard cameras, Meizu 17 comes with One (20 MP) camera on the front side and four (64 x 12 x 8 x 5 MP) cameras on the back side. The front camera supports video recording up to 1080p at 30 fps. Whereas, the rear camera supports video recording up to 4K at 30 fps, 1080p at 30 fps. The aperture of the front camera lens is f/2.2. While, the apertures of the rear camera lens are f/1.8, f/1.9, f/2.2, f/1.9.

Some of the features of the front camera include Wide Angle, Selfie Mode, Face Unlock, HDR, Portrait.

Subsequently, some of the features of the rear camera include Wide Angle, Macro Camera, Depth Camera, Ultrawide Angle, Auto HDR, Panorama, LED Flash, Portrait, Time Lapse, Slow Motion, EIS.

The connectivity options of Meizu 17 include Bluetooth (5.1) , Wi-Fi (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/6, hotspot, dual, direct), NFC, USB, GPS, 2G / GSM / GPRS, 3G / HSPA / CDMA, 4G / LTE, 5G and Dual (Nano SIM) for Calls / SMS / Data.

The security features built inside the handset include Touch ID and Face ID. Moreover, it is equipped with a number of sensors including Accelerometer, fingerprint, proximity, gyro, compass.

Furthermore, Meizu 17 comes with a 4500mAh battery which supports fast charging but does not have an option for wireless charging. In addition to this, the build material of the smartphone comprises of Front (Glass), Back (Plastic), Sides (Plastic).

The actual weight (without any accessory attached) and dimensions of the Meizu 17 are 199 gms and 6.30 x 3.04 x 0.33 (Height x Width x Depth) inches, respectively.
