vivo Y21

vivo Y21, launched on August 20, 2021, is a budget-friendly smartphone by vivo. It is powered by Helio P35 SoC, Octa Core (4 x 2.35 GHz, 4 x 1.8 GHz) CPU, and PowerVR GE8320 GPU.

The smartphone comes with 4 GB RAM and 64 / 128 GB storage memory. Furthermore, the handset supports the installation of additional storage via a memory card.

The mobile phone has a 6.51-inch IPS LCD display supporting resolutions up to 1600 x 720 pixels at a pixel density of ~270 pixels per inch (PPI). Other features of vivo Y21’s display include HD+ Halo Display, Eye Protection, Face Wake.

As regard cameras, vivo Y21 comes with One (8 MP) camera on the front side and two (13 x 2 MP) cameras on the back side. The front camera supports video recording up to 1080p at 30 fps. Whereas, the rear camera supports video recording up to 1080p at 30 fps. The aperture of the front camera lens is f/2.0. While, the apertures of the rear camera lens are f/2.2, f/2.4.

Some of the features of the front camera include Wide Angle, Selfie Mode, Face Beauty, Portrait.

Subsequently, some of the features of the rear camera include LED flash, Wide Angle, Macro Camera, PDAF, AI Camera, Face Beauty, Super HDR.

The connectivity options of vivo Y21 include Bluetooth (5.0) , Wi-Fi (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, hotspot, direct, dual), USB, GPS, 2G / GSM / GPRS, 3G / HSPA / CDMA, 4G / LTE, and Dual (Nano SIM) for Calls / SMS / Data.

The security features built inside the handset include Touch ID and Face ID. Moreover, it is equipped with a number of sensors including Accelerometer, fingerprint, gyro, compass, proximity.

Furthermore, vivo Y21 comes with a 5000mAh battery which supports fast charging but does not have an option for wireless charging. In addition to this, the build material of the smartphone comprises of Front (Glass), Back (Plastic), Sides (Plastic).

The actual weight (without any accessory attached) and dimensions of the vivo Y21 are 182 gms and 6.47 x 3.00 x 0.31 (Height x Width x Depth) inches, respectively.
