Oppo A16

Oppo A16, launched on July 17, 2021, is among the cheapest smartphones by OPPO. It is powered by Helio G35 SoC, Octa Core (4 x 2.3 GHz, 4 x 1.8 GHz) CPU, and PowerVR GE8320 GPU.

The smartphone comes with 3 / 4 GB RAM of type LPDDR4X and 256 / 64 / 32 GB storage memory. Furthermore, the handset supports the installation of additional storage via a memory card.

The mobile phone has a 6.52-inch IPS LCD display supporting resolutions up to 720 x 1600 pixels at a pixel density of ~269 pixels per inch (PPI). Other features of Oppo A16’s display include HD+, Eye-care Display.

As regard cameras, Oppo A16 comes with One (8 MP) camera on the front side and three (13 x 2 x 2 MP) cameras on the back side. The front camera supports video recording up to 1080p at 30 fps, 780p at 30 fps. Whereas, the rear camera supports video recording up to 1080p at 30 fps, 780p at 30 fps. The aperture of the front camera lens is f/2.0. While, the apertures of the rear camera lens are f/2.2, f/2.4, f/2.4.

Some of the features of the front camera include HDR, Wide Angle.

Subsequently, some of the features of the rear camera include HDR, , LED flash, panorama, wide angle, macro camera, depth camera, portrait, PDAF, Focus, Time lapse, Slow motion.

The connectivity options of Oppo A16 include Bluetooth (5.0) , Wi-Fi (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, hotspot, direct, dual ), USB, GPS, 2G / GSM / GPRS, 3G / HSPA / CDMA, 4G / LTE, and Dual (Nano SIM) for Calls / SMS / Data.

The security features built inside the handset include Touch ID and Face ID. Moreover, it is equipped with a number of sensors including Accelerometer, Fingerprint, compass, Step counting, proximity, Geomagnetic, Light sensor, Gravity sensor.

Furthermore, Oppo A16 comes with a 5000mAh battery which supports fast charging but does not have an option for wireless charging. .

The actual weight (without any accessory attached) and dimensions of the Oppo A16 are 190 gms and 6.45 x 2.98 x 0.33 (Height x Width x Depth) inches, respectively.
