Oppo A12s

Oppo A12s, launched on July 26, 2020, is among the cheapest smartphones by OPPO. It is powered by Helio P35 SoC, Octa Core (4 x 2.35 GHz, 4 x 1.8 GHz) CPU, and PowerVR GE8320 GPU.

The smartphone comes with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB storage memory. Furthermore, the handset supports the installation of additional storage via a memory card.

The mobile phone has a 6.2-inch IPS LCD display supporting resolutions up to 1520 x 720 pixels at a pixel density of ~271 pixels per inch (PPI). Other features of Oppo A12s’s display include Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

As regard cameras, Oppo A12s comes with One (5 MP) camera on the front side and two (13 x 2 MP) cameras on the back side. The front camera supports video recording up to 720p at 30 fps. Whereas, the rear camera supports video recording up to 1080p at 30 fps. The aperture of the front camera lens is f/2.4, f/2.4. While, the apertures of the rear camera lens are f/2.2, f/2.4.

Some of the features of the front camera include HDR, Selfie, Portrait.

Subsequently, some of the features of the rear camera include HDR, , LED flash, panorama, wide angle, depth camera, PDAF, Focus, Time lapse, Slow motion.

The connectivity options of Oppo A12s include Bluetooth (5.0) , Wi-Fi (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, hotspot, direct, dual), USB, GPS, 2G / GSM / GPRS, 3G / HSPA / CDMA, 4G / LTE, and Dual (Nano SIM) for Calls / SMS / Data.

The security features built inside the handset include Touch ID and Face ID. Moreover, it is equipped with a number of sensors including Accelerometer, fingerprint, gyro, compass, proximity.

Furthermore, Oppo A12s comes with a 4230mAh battery which does not support fast charging or wireless charging. In addition to this, the build material of the smartphone comprises of Front (Glass), Back (Plastic), Sides (Plastic).

The actual weight (without any accessory attached) and dimensions of the Oppo A12s are 165 gms and 6.14 x 2.97 x 0.33 (Height x Width x Depth) inches, respectively.
